The East Country Hoedowners LOVE to clog and we'd love to clog for YOU! We offer a 45 minute show featuring a variety of clogging routines and styles, including our always popular "Audience Participation" numbers......for the young and young at heart. CLASSES
Clogging is truly a dance that can take you from the cradle to the grave! You are NEVER too old or too young to learn to clog. If you can clap your hands or pat your feet....you can CLOG! We encourage families to clog together. It is a great "bonding" time. It makes you take 1 hour out of your week to spend together learning something that will stay with you for the rest of your life. We offer Beginner, Intermediate, and Easy Advanced level clogging lessons for kids ages 5 thru Senior adults, line dances, fun mixers, couples routines, and southern appalachian freestyle routines. TEAM
East Country Hoedowners offers something for everyone. All of our dancers have the opportunity to be a part of our clogging team. For the most part, we are a recreational team. However, if you are interested in the competition side of clogging, these is opportunity for that as well. Whether you wish to clog just for fun, want to learn something new, would like to clog on a team or want to compete in front of judges...East Country Hoedowners is the team for you! WORKSHOP INSTRUCTION
Jayne teaches at both private and open workshops, from the "Help, I've never clogged a step" level thru High Intermediate, basic Flatfootin' steps, as well as Traditional Southern Appalachian freestyle steps, figures and routines. Send an email if you would like Jayne for a Workshop:
